I booked the Curl Love Experience Delux in the U.K. as I was suffering with ongoing issues with breakage, dryness, flakes on my hair (with every product I used), I was constantly buying different products to see if they worked and I was struggling to know what to do. I had the best experience with Amour. From the very beginning, I felt relaxed and was offered a drink and welcomed so nicely. I had a consultation with Amour and all of my issues were discussed. Amour explained everything she was doing and was keen for me to understand and also have a go myself so I could be confident with her technique. I did not know my hair could ever look this beautiful and it’s kept it’s curl and shine and looks like it will keep perfectly till the next wash day. I am extremely happy with my hair and Amour, and she has cut such a beautiful and flattering shape which suits my face. I have never been able to have my hair out due to flaking, dryness and no movement. Now my hair is shiny, curly and it has great movement. Before seeing Amour I had given up with hairdressers as my experience having very thick Afro hair was disastrous. I can now say I am so happy I tried with a hairdresser again as the experience with Amour was great. I will definitely be visiting Amour when she is back in the U.K. for another hair appointment. Since my hair has been done, I have had so many compliments and I feel confident managing my hair now. 😊

I love my experience at Amour Hair and beauty. Afua is a professional who takes great care of curly hair. As I am the type of person who likes changing hair colour and hair style, she always takes the time to listen to what I want and give me constructive feedback in case she does not recommend a colour but helped me reach slowly the closest to what I wanted. She makes the hairdresser experience a unique and personal one, without forgetting the fun I am having with the video shootings and pictures she takes during the session.

I attended the natural curl love education course. One day was a theory day via zoom and the other two days were in-person education in Nottingham. It was a really good course, very thorough and in-depth and Afua the educator has great knowledge and experience with curl and tight curl hair- all of which Afua kindly shared with us, answering our many questions. I felt like we were given the tools to assist clients with their curly hair- effective consultations, what products to use, good hair care routines and curly cuts for lovely shaping and style. I would thoroughly recommend this course
